The Malinowy Zdrój Medical Spa Hotel is located in the Solec - Zdrój Spa Municipality in Świętokrzyskie province. This Świętokrzyski health resort is the only one in the region that has the strongest sulfide brine in the world.
The charming Solec-Zdrój Commune is located in the southeastern part of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, a dozen or so kilometres from the mouth of the Nida River into the Vistula.

The town of Solec-Zdrój itself, serving as a municipal center, is located in the central part of the municipality, at an altitude of 160 meters above the sea level, at a distance of 90 km from Kielce, 100 km from Kraków and 3km from the Sandomierz-Kraków route.
Currently, there are two sources of therapeutic water in Solec-Zdrółj: chloride-iodide-sodium-bromide-sulfide brine which is simply called sulfide water. The high concentration of sulfur and high mineralization make it the strongest medicinal water of its kind in the world. It has a high therapeutic value used primarily in musculoskeletal, rheumatic and orthopedic disorders, for which spas in Busko have been famous for through centuries.
While in Solec-Zdrój, it is worth seeing the historic church of St. Nicholas with a crucifix from the 16th-17th centuries, a Renaissance tombstone of Samuel Zborowski, a wooden church in Świniary from the 12th century, and the Palace in Zborów - originally a Renaissance church from the 16th-17th centuries (family home of the Zborowski magnate family).
