Stopnica is a village located in the Świętokrzyskie province, in the County of Busko, on the Pińczowski hump and approximately 15 km East from Busko-Zdrój. It is located on the border of Ponidzie and Staszów and Szydłów region. Monuments: Gothic parish church of St. Peter and Paul, the monastery complex of the Order of the Sacred Heart founded by Krzysztof and Anna Ossolińscy and an old cemetery founded in 1786 by Bishop Józef Olechowski. It is one of the oldest cemeteries in Poland built outside the city. It was ruined during the fighting in 1945. Several classicist tombstones from the 19th century have been preserved there, as well as a stone statue of St. John of Nepomuk from the 18th century, standing by the road from the church to the former castle.
